Plog #1 – Querétaro

I’ve seen some bloggers keep a diary with photographs, this is called ‘plog’ (photoblog), so here is mine from my first week in Mexico.

Mexicans will know… “Tacos al pastor” for dinner, just an hour after landing.

And breakfast nine hours later…

My parents live in a place called Querétaro, around 220 km north Mexico city. They have been living here since 2008. The choose Queretaro because it  is relatively close to Mexico city and it isn’t that crowded. It also has a Dutch community which is nice for my stepfather .(He is Dutch, remember?)

The historic center of Queretaro – with its alleys, nooks and old mansions, has hosted a number of fascinating stories and even horror stories ;).
