Easy vanilla cupcakes recipe

I  have this plain vanilla cupcake recipe that will surprise you. It’s the simplest thing to make and I’m going to share it with you.

 Preheat the oven to 170°C

For 12 cupcakes you will need:

1 cups self-raising flour

125g unsalted, softened butter

1cup sugar

¼ tsp baking soda

½ tsp vanilla extract

2 large eggs

1 – 2 tbsp milk

image-71. Weight and measure all ingredients

image-32. Sift all dry ingredients together into a bowl

image-13. Add the rest of the ingredients except for the milk and beat it for a minute or two

image-94. Once it is combined stir the milk through the mix until it’s all incorporated

image-55. Fill two-thirds of each paper case with the mix and bake the cupcakes for 20 minutes

imageAnd there you go, let them cool down on a wire  cooling rack for a couple of minutes.
