Unbaked chocolate cake

I guess I have to come clean about something… I am not a big fan of chocolate. I mean I eat it, but it will never be my first choice.

Either way, I have this recipe for an unbaked chocolate cake that I think you must try. It is really the easiest thing to make.

You will need:

– 225 g dark chocolate, in pieces. I used chocolate with hazelnuts.
– 225 g butter. I used liquid butter but It will be better if you use the regular one.
– 3 tbsp black coffee.
– 50 g light brown sugar.
– 1 tsp vanilla extract.
– 225 g wholemeal biscuits, crumbled.

Extras: you may add some raisins or walnuts; around 85 g.

Step 1baking mold

Line a baking mold with parchment paper.

Step 2ingredients

Melt the chocolate and butter with coffee, sugar and vanilla extract gently in a bain-marie.

Step 3

Remove the mix from heat and add the biscuits crumbs. (And eventually the walnuts & raisins)

Step 4cake bin

Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking mold and let it set in the fridge for about an hour.

And now all you have to do is eat and enjoy!

Until the next time… Cheers!
